Celebrate Juneteenth at Utah’s largest Juneteenth event, the 6th Annual Salt Lake Juneteenth Celebration & Black Owned Business Expo, taking place on Friday, June 19, 2026. This free, family-friendly community event is held at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City (Gateway Plaza, 10 North Rio Grande, Salt Lake City, UT 84101).
The event features a variety of cultural activities and entertainment, including:
- Community Gathering at the Utah State Capitol followed by a Celebration Walk to The Gateway
- Black Owned Business Expo with vendors from across Utah
- Black Art Gallery showcasing local Black artists
- Live performances on the Entertainment Stage
- Kids Corner with activities such as the Black History Museum Bus, bounce house, and African storytelling
- Roller skating for attendees
