
Skateboarding 101 for Tweens & Teens

About
Tweens and teens can learn about the history and culture of skateboarding and try out some basics on the board. Skateboards and helmets will be provided.
Presented by Pushing Ahead, a 501(c)(3) non-profit and charity organization dedicated to empowering youth through skateboarding. By providing a nurturing and safe environment, they teach the skills that encourage youth to become confident individuals and build strong communities.
Registration and a signed waiver are required. A parent/guardian must print and sign the waiver before attending.
Skateboarding workshops will take place at the following times and locations:
- Tue, June 9, 12–2pm · Day-Riverside Branch
- Sat, June 13, 10am–12pm · Glendale Branch
- Sat, June 27, 10am–12pm · Marmalade Branch
