Come explore the wonders of the microverse every Monday from 3-6pm by looking at found objects under microscopes!

Our topics for this month are:
- June 1 -- Hydra - Discover the fascinating world of hydra, microscopic organisms closely related to sea anemones that have an amazing ability to regenerate. You'll have the chance to observe these "immortal" organisms up close through microscopes and learn about the science behind their remarkable biology!
- June 8 -- Oceans - Dive into the tiny wonders of the ocean and explore an underwater world. Use microscopes to get an up-close look at shells, sand, and other fascinating ocean treasures. Have a shell collection at home? Bring it in to take a closer look! We will also have a hands-on activity exploring how whales eat and what that has to do with our fingernails!
- June 15 -- Macroinvertebrates - Explore the world of tiny animals living in the rivers and streams of Utah - up close! Aquatic macroinvertebrates aren't just food for fish - by looking at their adaptations, we can find key clues for how healthy the water around us is.
- June 22 -- Snails - Learn about this important gastropod and its impact on sustaining healthy dirt and water. We will make clay snails and observe shells under microscopes.
- June 29 -- Searching for Stardust - Did you know that approximately 60 tons of dust from asteroids, comets and other celestial bodies fall to the Earth every single day? Join us at Clark Planetarium as we search for micrometeorites hidden among the dust and debris of our Salt Lake City rooftops.
