Nothing says late summer in the Southwest like the aroma of roasting Hatch green chiles. Celebrate Harmons' annual Green Chile Roast with our most popular hands-on class and learn the art of traditional tamale making from the ground up.

We'll make fresh masa, prepare authentic fillings, and master the techniques for wrapping beautiful tamales by hand. Whether you're continuing a family tradition or starting a new one, you'll leave with the skills—and a generous batch of handcrafted tamales—to steam and enjoy at home.

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:
- You'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
- You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment. Classes are 2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
- You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
