Beehive Circuit Dance Competition

This event is hosted by Beehive State Country Swing Circuit. Winners will qualify for a chance to compete for the State of Utah Country Swing Championship at the Beehive State Dance Event on August 21 and 22 (Please see Beehive State Country Swing Circuit Instagram/Facebook page for more details on that event).
Event schedule:
- 6:00–6:20 PM — Check-in. COMPETITORS MUST CHECK IN NO LATER THAN 6:20PM!
- 6:30 PM–10:00 PM — Competitions:
- Country Swing Jack & Jill competition
- Line dancing competition
- Country Swing Strictly competition
- All American Two Step competition
Line dance rounds:
- Preliminary Round — Lower Level Line Dances: Rodeo by Lenny Cooper (Choreo: Alexis Chavez) AND Knockin Boots by Luke Bryan (Choreo: Cody Flowers)
- Final Round — Lower Level Line Dance: American Kids by Kenny Chesney (Choreo: Randy Pelletier)
- Preliminary Round — Upper Level Line Dances: Honky Tonk Way (I See Country) by Ian Munsick (Choreo: Landon Purvis & Mark Paulino) AND Off the Chain (I Can’t Believe It) by Flo Rida ft. Pitbull (Choreo: Fred Whitehouse)
- Final Round — Upper Level Line Dance: Cyber Remix (Take You Dancing) by Jason Derulo (Choreo: Fred Whitehouse & Shane McKeever)
Registration information:
- Competitors are welcome to sign up for all events – REGISTRATION LINK .
- Beehive Circuit competitor fee is $10 per competition and can be paid at the link below, Venmo- @beehivecountryswingcircuit, or cash on the day of (e.g. If you are signing up for line dance and J&J, then you would pay the Beehive Circuit $20 for 2 events).
- There will be a $10 per person cover charge for The Westerner due at the door when you arrive.
- ALL competitors MUST be 21+ (no exceptions) and have a valid ID. Although there are many different types of ID, under Utah law, The Westerner is only able to accept the following:
- A U.S. state-issued driver’s license (this includes a temporary paper license renewal with date of birth and photo)
- A U.S. state-issued or U.S. territory ID card (with date of birth and photo)
- A U.S. military ID card (with date of birth and photo)
- A passport
- Competitors may enter one level for Jack and Jill as a lead and one level as a follow if they so wish. Competitors may NOT enter into both roles within the same level (e.g. Signing up to be both a lead and a follow at the beginner level).
