Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly festival held every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from August 8 through October 11, 2026. The festival runs from noon to 6 pm each event day. Admission is free.

Event features include:
- Live music and performances on the Chickadee Stage
- Traditional Bavarian food and more than 50 varieties of beer
- Marktplatz with local artisan vendors
- Games in the Halle tent, live art installations, and alphorn performances on Hidden Peak
- More than 21 summer activities (examples include the Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster, and ropes course) available for all ages

Food and beverages (including German-style beers and non-alcoholic options) are purchased a la carte. Guests can save money by reusing Snowbird Oktoberfest mugs or buying activity passes in advance. Gluten-free dining choices are available.

Transportation and parking:
- Free shuttle from the Park & Ride at 9400 S. Highland Dr. Shuttles run every 80 minutes from August 8–23 and every 40 minutes from August 29–October 11.
- Resort parking is limited: $15 per vehicle in designated lots, $30 for valet. Carpooling is recommended.

Most sales are cashless; reverse ATMs are available onsite.

Policies:
- No pets allowed due to watershed regulations.
- The festival is non-smoking except in designated areas.
