Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a multi-weekend, family-friendly festival in Utah, running August 8 through October 11, 2026. The event takes place every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from noon to 6 pm. Admission is free.

The festival features live music, games in the Halle tent, alphorns on Hidden Peak, traditional Bavarian food, and over 50 varieties of beer including German styles and local Utah brews. Visitors can explore the Marktplatz with over 40 local vendors offering jewelry, handcrafted goods, pottery, and artwork.

Activities (more than 21 summer activities available) include:
- Alpine Slide
- Mountain Coaster
- Ropes course
- Bungee trampolines
- Kids inflatables

Food and drink highlights:
- Bratwurst, weisswurst, sauerkraut
- Apple strudel and pretzels
- À la carte food options
- Over 50 beer varieties (German styles and local brews)

Logistics and policies:
- Parking on event days is subject to a $15 fee (or $30 for valet). Guests are encouraged to carpool.
- A free shuttle service runs between the event and the Park & Ride at 9400 S. Highland Dr., in partnership with Snow Country Limo. The shuttle operates every Saturday and Sunday plus Labor Day; advance reservations are recommended to guarantee a spot.
- All sales at Oktoberfest and on Snowbird property are cashless.
- No pets are allowed in the canyon or at the event (exceptions for service animals).
- Smoking is not permitted within the festival area.

Lodging and planning:
- Special lodging packages such as the Prost Package are available; the Prost Package includes souvenir mugs and a dining credit.
- Attendees are encouraged to plan ahead for parking, rideshare, and activity pass purchases.

Please don't drink and drive. Rideshare and shuttle options are available for safe transportation.
