First Day Hike

Start a New Year tradition with fresh air, community and movement. Meet at the Perimeter Trailhead at Rock Cliff Recreation area for an easy 2-mile round-trip hike overlooking the Provo River inlet and Jordanelle Reservoir.

This is a family- and leashed-dog-friendly activity. Please clean up after your dogs. The annual event takes place rain or shine; check the website and social media pages for trail condition updates. There is no additional fee; regular park entry fees apply.
