Join the Connect Finals on December 4th at the Urban Arts Gallery in Salt Lake City. This annual art competition showcases standout works by this year’s Connect participants, offering artists a chance to win cash prizes and the opportunity to exhibit their work through December and January.
Event highlights include:
- Public voting on favorite artworks
- Cash prizes awarded to winners based on both public votes and expert judging
- An exhibition of winning artworks
- Opportunity to meet and network with artists and art enthusiasts
- Drawing and silent auction with unique goods and prizes from local businesses
- Fundraising activities supporting the Connect program for the next year
Schedule:
- 6PM: Admission & Cocktail Hour (Explore the showcase with catered food and drinks from Moab Brewery. Drink tickets are available at the front desk.)
- 7PM: Food Will Be Served
- 7:30PM: Artwork Discussion (Artists share insights about their work.)
- 8:30PM: Voting Officially Opens (Join the silent auction and opportunity drawing.)
- 9PM: Voting Closes (Winners from the drawing and auction announced.)
- 9:30PM: Connect Winners Announced
- 10PM: Connect Finals Ends
The Urban Arts Gallery is located at 116 S Rio Grande St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 in the Gateway Mall.
Parking is available in the North and South garages for a fee, with merchant-rate validation in the South Garage. Public transit via UTA/TRAX is encouraged, with the Gateway in the Free Fare Zone—take Route 701 or 704 (TRAX) or FrontRunner to North Temple Station.
Tickets are available for purchase online. The event welcomes both artists and the public; you do not need to bring art to participate.
