Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly festival held every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, from August 8 through October 11, 2026. The event runs noon to 6 pm each day and is free to attend. No registration is required for general admission.

Visitors can enjoy traditional Bavarian fare, over 50 varieties of beer, live music, games in the Halle tent, alphorn performances on Hidden Peak, and local vendors at the Oktoberfest Marktplatz. Activities also include live art installations and summer attractions like the Alpine Slide and Mountain Coaster, suitable for all ages.

Free shuttles run between the resort and the park-and-ride lot at 9400 S. Highland Dr. Parking at Snowbird during the event is available for a fee, with cashless payment required in most locations. On-site parking is limited, so guests are encouraged to carpool or use shuttles.

Alcohol is available for purchase, with discounts on beer for guests who reuse a Snowbird stein or mug. Non-alcoholic beverages and gluten-free food options are also offered. Oktoberfest is cashless except at some independent vendors. Only service animals are permitted on site.
