Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event features the Food Truck League food trucks and music from classic rock band Blasted Past.
It's happening at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., on Friday, Aug. 28. The food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m., and Blasted Past will play on the Centennial Plaza stage in front of City Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Blasted Past is a local favorite, entertaining Utah audiences for 20-plus years. Focusing on classic rock with other genres peppered in the mix, the band is made up of:
- Tamra Burton — lead vocalist
- Allen Spaulding — guitar and vocals
- Wade Neff — keyboard and vocals
- Donny Hazelwood — bass
- Dave Glines — drums
The event is free, so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza! Look for something happening every Friday night on the plaza through Sept. 25.
