29029 Everesting

An event fit for the extreme hiker. You have 29,029 feet to climb in 36 hours, the equivalent height of Mt. Everest. Hike up the mountain, take the gondola down, and repeat.

29029 is back again this summer, on June 11th through June 14th, in their quest to climb Snowbasin 13 times to reach the equivalent elevation gain as Mt. Everest.

• Event dates: Thursday, June 11th through Sunday, June 14th
• Registration required: Yes (Sold Out)
• Location: Snowbasin Resort Base Area
• Trail status: All mountain trails remain open for hiking, biking, and sightseeing. Trail users must yield to athletes competing in the event; several yield signs are placed around the mountain and on the trails.
• Climbing occurs throughout the weekend, all day and night.
