Fort Desolation Fest is a three-night festival of live music, food, and drinks at Cougar Ridge Resort in Torrey, Utah, taking place September 24–26, 2026.
The event is designed for adventure travelers and music lovers, with concerts each evening and daytime activities in the scenic red rocks near Capitol Reef National Park.
Fort Desolation Fondo: gravel rides in partnership with Utah Gravel Series on Friday and Saturday. Packages for the Fondo include festival passes and on-site camping.
On-site camping is available, with campfire jams, games, cook-offs, and cocktail hours. For more comfort, luxury glamping or private villas and suites are offered, all with premium amenities.
New for 2026: a 3-day pass to the Oasis Pool & Fitness Center is available for swimming, hot tubs, sauna, steam, and pickleball near the campground.
The festival is located just outside Capitol Reef National Park, with opportunities to hike, mountain bike, overland, climb, or explore the local area by day and return for music at night.
