About
Join us for a beginner-friendly Birding 101 class followed by a guided community bird walk.
We will start indoors with an interactive lesson covering birding basics, what to look and listen for, and how to use binoculars. After the class, all participants are invited to join a guided bird walk led by Wasatch Audubon, exploring Ogden Nature Center with a special focus on the Wasatch Audubon bird feeders.
Whether you are brand new to birding or have years of experience, everyone is welcome.
- Date: 4th Saturday of each month, excluding April, November, and December
- Time: 9:00–11:00 am (classroom portion first, up to 30 minutes, followed by the bird walk)
- Location: Ogden Nature Center (meet in the Education Classroom)
- Theme: Birding Basics, Binoculars, and Winter Birds at the Feeders
- Need to know: Dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them (a limited number may be available)
- Registration: This is a free event and is open to all. Please register in advance using the link provided so we can plan accordingly. Participants receive free admission for the visit.
