All it takes is flour, butter, sugar, salt, and water, and you can leave the store with the best pie you’ve ever made. We’ll focus on crafting the perfect crust—you can ask unlimited questions and practice as many times as you like. You’ll make enough crust for two 9-inch pies to take home and learn tips from the pros that you can use again and again.
We’ll also show you how to make a simple mini Key Lime pie with fresh meringue.
What we’ll make:
- Two 9-inch all-butter pie crusts
- Apple pie with lattice crust
- Mini Key Lime pies with fresh meringue
- Pumpkin pie filling
All fillings are available as take-home options. You can bake a complete pie and take it home, or take home the ingredients and assemble it at home.
In this hands-on class, you’ll work in small groups with other students, led by professional chef instructors. You’ll share workstations and equipment. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
Classes usually last 2–2½ hours, but pie classes notoriously run longer, so please plan accordingly. Seats are priced per person.
