Macarons can be difficult to make, but once you know the correct method it gets easy! Our devoted Chef Laura will be teaching you how to craft the Italian meringue method of making macarons, a technique you can use again and again. Not only is the recipe itself useful, the wealth of knowledge provided by students and staff fosters a fun, engaging learning environment for new and experienced Chefs alike. In this return, special edition of Macaron Magic, you'll be delighted to have special flavored fillings, and all the Thanksgiving decorating skills we have to offer!
A Chef-prepared dinner is provided during our class.
What you'll do in class:
- Delicate and delicious Italian meringue macarons
- Cranberry Jelly
- Gingerbread Creme
- White Chocolate Chai Filling
- Butter-Pecan Pie Buttercream
What to expect in a Harmons Cooking School class:
- You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
- You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
- Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
- You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
- Seats are priced per person.
