In class you'll sear and use a pressure cooker to achieve the perfect shredded beef in just under an hour. That's not all: the savory broth you create becomes a delightful dipping sauce for your quesabirria tacos. Refried beans and a host of salsas join the party to round out our celebration of this new, trendy food from Mexico.

The technique for frying the tortillas in the broth can be tricky — that's where our talented team of chef experts come in. This class is perfect for those who love Mexican food, who love to cook, people who can't cook, and especially people who love to have fun and make new friends. What to expect in a Harmons Cooking School class:
- You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
- You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
- Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
- You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
