Join us for a seasonal, chef-led cooking experience celebrating the best of land and sea. We’ll prepare a vibrant Spring ‘surf & turf’ menu featuring responsibly sourced seafood, peak-season produce, and thoughtful techniques you can recreate at home.
What You’ll Cook:
- Hollandaise and Asparagus
- Bérnaise and Steak
- Beurre Blanc and Scallop
What You’ll Taste:
- Creamy, Buttery Sauces
- Tender, Juicy Steaks
- Mouth Melting Scallops
What You’ll Learn:
- Emulsifying delicate butter sauces
- Searing techniques from the pros
- Tricks on working quickly and efficiently while minimizing waste
We strive to minimize waste in the Cooking School — this evening's class will be free from single-use plastics and all food waste is composted as part of Harmons’ ongoing waste diversion program. Harmons is proud to work with local purveyors for produce and ingredients wherever possible.
What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:
- You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
- You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
- Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
- You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Seats are priced per person.
