The Western Stampede is West Jordan's multi-day summer celebration running July 2–4, 2026. The festival features the PRCA Western Stampede Rodeo each evening at 7:30 pm at the Rodeo Arena, showcasing top riders in the sport.
Veterans Memorial Park hosts a carnival with rides, games, and food. Carnival hours are Thursday and Friday, 4:00 pm–10:30 pm, and Saturday, 11:00 am–10:30 pm. Presale carnival tickets are available starting June 29 for $30 at City Hall (8000 S Redwood Road) while supplies last; onsite ticket sales are also available. Food trucks and a vendor fair run alongside the carnival, offering local treats and artisan goods.

- Kids Rodeo (Thursday–Saturday, 5:00–7:00 pm) with free Western-themed games at the Canyon View Credit Union Community & Arts Center
- Bingo (Thursday–Saturday, 4:00–6:00 pm) at the Veterans Memorial Park Pavilion
- 23rd Army Band performance (Thursday, 5:30 pm)
- National Treasure scavenger hunt & movie (Thursday, from 7:00 pm; movie at 9:00 pm)
- Slack rodeo event (Friday, 8:00 am) at the Rodeo Arena
- Lover: The Ultimate Taylor Swift Tribute concert (Friday, 7:30 pm) and drone show (Friday, 10:00 pm) at Veterans Memorial Park
- Stampede Slugfest at Sundown, a one-pitch overnight softball tournament at Ron Wood Park (Friday, from 6:00 pm)
- West Jordan Grand Parade (Saturday, July 4, at 10:30 am) on Redwood Road; the parade route closes at 10:15 am
- Police K9 demo (Saturday, 3:00–4:00 pm) at Veterans Memorial Park
- Red Hot Revolution concert (Saturday, 7:30 pm)
- America 250 celebration (Saturday, 9:45 pm) honoring America's history
- Fireworks show (Saturday, 10:00 pm) at Veterans Memorial Park; best viewing is from the east side of the park
Many events are free, but rodeo and carnival require tickets. The festival is family-friendly, offering entertainment, food, games, vendor shopping, music, and community celebrations. Parking for evening events may be limited, so plan to arrive early.
