The 2026 Avenues Street Fair takes place on Saturday, October 10th from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 1st Avenue between I and O Streets.
The event features local arts, crafts, prepackaged foods, and a variety of food and drink vendors. Live music and curated entertainment are scheduled throughout the day; the lineup for 2026 is already selected. Attendees can visit vendor booths representing:
- art
- retail
- nonprofits
- political groups
- Avenues youth
- government agencies
This year's featured artist is Libby Peterson, whose theme is “Animals in the Avenues.” Her work will be on display near the GACC booth at 1st Avenue and K Street.
Sponsor and entertainer applications are open. Vendor applications for most categories are now closed, with a waitlist in effect.

Volunteers are welcome, and there is a special People’s Art Gallery project.
