Tonight's Starry Nights @the Plaza event features classic rock from the Bonepile, an outdoor movie, and food trucks. It's happening at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd., on Friday, Aug. 14.

Food trucks arrive at 5:30 p.m.
The Bonepile plays on the Centennial Plaza stage in front of City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
The movie "The Spongebob Movie" begins at 9 p.m.

The Bonepile has been performing across Utah, Idaho and Wyoming for more than 20 years. They are a heavy-hitting rock music band that delivers crushing riffs, driving rhythms and raw vocals with quality, weight and impact.

The Starry Nights event, including the music and movie, is free, so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza! Look for something happening every Friday night on the plaza through Sept. 25.
