Avalanche Dog Demonstration

Solitude's avalanche rescue dogs provide a life-saving service to our guests and the surrounding community. These highly-trained canines specialize in search and rescue and are ready in case of avalanche emergencies across the Wasatch Front.

Come watch training drills at the Apex Express chairlift, where Solitude's avalanche rescue dogs and their ski patrol handlers practice seeking volunteers buried in the snow.
