Bring your best style to Solitude Bike Park’s Whip Off for a chance to win 2027 Solitude Bike Park passes! Not riding? Kick back, take in the fall colors, cheer on the riders, and enjoy the action. After the competition, head to the Moonbeam base area for live music and Big Cottonwood Winter Welcome.
Prizes (awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places male and female):
- 1st place: Two 2027 Solitude Bike Park Passes & local merch
- 2nd place: One 2027 Solitude Bike Park Pass
- 3rd place: The North Face Duffle Bag
Participation details:
- Cost: Free (lift access required)
- Gear: Full-face helmets and protective gear are mandatory
- Registration: Same-day at Moonbeam Lodge. Waiver required. Parent/guardian signature required for participants under 18
- Location: Final jump on Pyrite Plunge

- 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Pyrite Plunge open to the public
- 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Check-In & Registration (Moonbeam Lodge)

- 4:45 to 6:00 p.m. — Whip Off
- 6:00 p.m. — Close out train lap
- 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. — Adult Mini Bike Jump Comp near Link chairlift

- 8:00 p.m. — Bike & Ski Films from The Runge
