Megan Blue & the Bonfire

Megan Blue’s huge, soulful voice has a sweetness and precision you wouldn’t expect. After completing her master’s degree in vocal performance, Megan moved to Austin, Texas, where she cut her teeth playing with various blues bands. She later spent years leading The Blue Trees in New Orleans, performing original music, raising over $5,000 to create a professional album, and touring throughout the Southern United States. She has performed at New Orleans Jazz Fest and Festival International in Lafayette, Louisiana, and received regular radio play on WWOZ.

Since returning to Salt Lake, Megan has performed at venues including The Garage, The Bayou, Oktoberfest at Snowbird, and The State Room. She has collaborated with local musicians, including The Pour and Hivemind. Megan Blue and The Bonfire brings original country-fried blues for your listening and dancing pleasure.
