The Lars Yorgason Singers is an Ogden-based large vocal ensemble that performs ambitious arrangements of jazz standards packed with lush harmonies, dare-devil improvisation, and silky soloing.
Molded in the tradition of outstanding vocal groups like Singers Unlimited, The Swingle Singers, and The Four Freshmen, this mixed-voice group features individuals who have recorded professionally and performed at national and international festivals, concerts, and events. Together since 2017, they have energized audiences across the Wasatch Front, including Peery’s Egyptian Theater, The Tabernacle at Temple Square, the Gallivan Center, Union Station, and more.
The ensemble is led by first-call bassist Lars Yorgason, who writes and plays bass for the group. They are backed by some of Utah’s finest musicians:
