Harmons Station Park Cooking School

Chef Laura

Youth + knife? I understand your apprehension. However- this class will ensure your young chef returns to your home kitchen with the most professional knife skills you've ever seen.

First, we go over elaborate safety rules before anyone picks up a blade. Then, each Chef is given their own knife and kevlar cut glove to practice with. Under Chef guidance and instruction, each young Chef will learn to slice watermelon, potato, tomato, onion, and most importantly learn important kitchen safety skills that will come in handy anywhere. Our Station Park Cooking School prides itself on providing a fun, safe environment for young Chefs to learn, practice, become better, and eventually become our replacements.

Each young Chef returns home with their own Chef's knife, kevlar cut glove, and anything prepared they wish to take with them. A light dinner is provided prior to instruction.

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:
- You'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
- You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
- Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
- You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
- Seats are priced per person.

NOTE: If you would like to attend as a chaperone, please write so in the note box on your order.
