About
Craftober Fest is a celebration of South Salt Lake's creative community featuring local food, brew and cocktails, live music, art vendors, interactive art activities, and more. The event is open to lifelong residents and first-time visitors, inviting everyone to shop, eat, dance, and connect with the creative community of South Salt Lake.
Date and time: Saturday, October 3rd, 2026
12:00pm – 5:00pm
Location: 2460 S. Oakland Ave (between Main Street and West Temple), South Salt Lake, Utah
Highlights:
- Over 100 curated art vendors offering fine art, stickers, handcrafted goods, comic books, and more
- Local food, brew, and cocktails
- Live music and interactive art activities
- Celebration of diversity and community engagement in support of the arts
Special opportunities:
- Call for art vendors is open; applications close August 14th, 2026
- Call for 8 plein air artists to paint live at the event; participating artists will receive a $150 stipend and be featured in a post-event silent auction (applications close August 17th, 2026)
- Silent auction of plein air artwork: October 15th, 6–8 pm at Level Crossing Brewery (21+ only)

- Volunteers are welcome to help foster a welcoming atmosphere and support local artists
- Event sponsors help keep the arts accessible and visible in the community
The event is family-friendly except for the post-event silent auction on October 15th, which requires attendees to be 21 or older.
