BDAC's Annual Summerfest

The Bountiful Davis Art Center's Summerfest is an annual cultural arts festival celebrating global traditions through art, music, and performance. As part of the nationwide America 250 commemoration in 2026, this year's theme is E Pluribus Unum — "Out of Many, One," highlighting the diverse cultures and artistic traditions that shape the community.

Summerfest 2026 takes place at Bountiful City Park on August 7th and 8th, from Noon to 8pm.

• Live performances across both days, including music, dance, and drum circles. The schedule includes groups like Honey Duval & Native Youth, N8tive Hoop, Utah Alp Horns, Rise, Tauatage, Danz y Color, Hakan, Kargi, Mariachi Fuego, Taiko, Halua, Tutilli Ballet, Divya, Geno, Callanish, and Ballet Folklorico.

• Navajo Drum Circle and Dance: Summerfest Eve event on Thursday, August 6th, at 7pm.

• Art Yard Projects with hands-on activities, such as collaborative paper mâché sculpture painting (Axolote), a linocut printmaking workshop (Friday, August 7, all day), and a cyanotype workshop (Saturday, August 8, all day). These projects are open to families, youth, adults, children, and seniors.

• Heritage Arts Workshops led by master artists and cultural practitioners offering opportunities to learn traditional arts. Example workshops include "K-Pop Demon Hunter Tiger" (August 8, 4–6pm, ages 13+, taught by Joon Bae, $50) and "Champarrado, Zoque-Maya Chocolate-Making" (Saturday, August 8, 1:00–2:30, taught by Esmerelda Aquino, $40). Registration is required and space is limited.

• Food from diverse cuisines via a curated selection of food trucks, presented in partnership with the Food Truck League.

• The festival welcomes all ages, with special activities for children, teens, families, and seniors.

Artists and performers from across communities share handmade crafts and cultural performances, making the festival a celebration of diversity, unity, and artistic heritage.
