Chris Baron crashes back into Cottonwood Heights and THE Hog Wallow for the second year!

He has been touring west of the Rockies in 2025 and through 2026 with cellist Debbie Stewart to promote live music and his 2024 album Anonymous #10. The sound has evolved into a highly stylized, wickedly pleasant orchestral folk presentation — with two members only.

It’s a smooth mesh of big-band Cat Stevens; Avett Brothers; Michael Stipe. The wholly unique and totally original Chris Baron music will draw you in, shake your hand, tap and delight. There is no substitute for the live energy of this man and his secretive ensembles.

Chris Baron began rising after he won the performance competition at the 2022 Tucson Folk Festival and earned a feature spot at Folk Alliance International in early 2023. His 2024 album includes a track penned by a Texan, a guest performance by L.A. fiddler Gabe Witcher, and lush arrangements from his orchestral string trio. For 2025 he’s hitting the road full-time with cellist Debbie Stewart, bringing his unique sonic experience to stages far and wide.
