Celebrate 250 years of American history with a creative, hands-on journey into one of the nation’s most enduring traditions.

Participants will discover how quilting evolved from practical necessity into forms of artistic expression and storytelling. From early colonial homes to community quilting traditions, the history of quilts endures as symbols of culture, identity, and resilience throughout American history.

Attendees will create their own mini quilt square that can be made into a wearable brooch.

No sewing experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
