About
Dizgo with Kale
Born from attic jam sessions between childhood friends Andrew Pickel and Kevin Hinnefeld, Dizgo’s story began with two guitars, a tape recorder, and a dream—literally. The band’s name came to Hinnefeld in a dream before their first gig. Later joined by Jake Evatt on keys and vocals and Justin Clark on drums, the Bloomington-based quartet has evolved into a touring act.
Dizgo blends jamtronica with funk, soul, explosive guitar, and psychedelic rock. Their live shows combine soulful vocals, analog synths, searing guitar, intricate compositions, and extended improvisation in a danceable, introspective experience.
The band has performed at Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp, Secret Dreams, Domefest, and Sonic Bloom, and supported Goose, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, lespecial, Dogs in a Pile, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Their 2024 studio album, “Melt,” reflects the band’s connection with its audience.
Infants and children under 6 are not permitted in the venue for amplified nighttime shows due to sound levels and crowded conditions.
All ticket purchases are final. No refunds will be processed unless the headline artist cancels the performance.
