Every Thursday this summer, Putnam Place becomes the Capital Region’s home base for Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering. Packs and Pints is a laid-back weekly gathering built to bring players, collectors, and enthusiasts together — whether you’re a seasoned trader, a casual collector, or cracking your very first booster. All skill levels welcome, all year long. No pressure, just good company and great cards.
Each week brings:
- Live gameshows with chances to win free packs
- Trading and battling booths
- Group pack-opening experiences
- A rotating lineup of vendors on hand to buy, sell, and trade
Pull up a seat, crack some packs, find your next trade — and grab a pint while you’re at it. Bring the family early: kids under 18 are welcome with a parent or legal adult guardian until 8:00 PM; after 8:00 PM it’s 18-and-over only. Must be 21+ to drink.
