Community Science: The Bats of New York State and How DEC Monitors Them

DEC Fish and Wildlife Technician Lucara Aman will share information about the bat species found in New York State and how DEC monitors their populations. After the presentation, participants are invited to join our first Five Rivers "Bat Count" of the season. Bat counts are a community science program to monitor bats that breed at Five Rivers.

This program is most appropriate for teens and adults.
