Wednesday Wonders of Science - "70 Years of Neutrinos - What We Have Learnt and What is Still to Come"

[All ages] Come learn about a fascinating aspect of science and the world around us. Our presenters will discuss a different topic each month.

In November: “70 Years of Neutrinos - What We Have Learnt and What is Still to Come”

“I have done a terrible thing,” joked the theorist who proposed the neutrino in 1930, betting champagne it could never be detected. Yet scientists proved him wrong in 1956. Today, we explore this weird particle and how it serves as our key to the cosmos.

Presented by Dr. Vivek Jain, Associate Professor of Physics at the University at Albany.
