About

Our November book is An Armsfull of Birds: A Personal Field Guide to Love, Loss, and Commitment by Cara Benson.

“In moving through both her intensely personal and her planetary grief, Benson examines the cycles of boundless love, indelible loss, and hard-won recovery in this powerful climate memoir. This honest, emotional story about the importance of meaningful connection, engaged living, and our commitments to ourselves, our loved ones, and the ailing world around us, reminds us that ‘loss has everything to do with loving.’” — Orion Magazine

The book is available at Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza for 20% off for Honest Weight Book Club readers. You do not have to be an HWFC member. The bookstore has moved to a new location in the Plaza, in the old EMS spot in the back corner. Member Services will have loaner copies available in a week. Email [email protected].

Thursday, November 19, from 6 to 7:30 pm in the HWFC Community Room.

Join us! There will be snacks, conversation, and connection. Author Cara Benson will join the conversation.
