Kids Day

The annual Kids Day at Peebles Island State Park features activities in the Park Office/Visitor's Center, at the Pavilion, and throughout the park.

• Nature crafts
• Guided walk to a vernal pool
• Birdhouse building
• Self-guided Storywalk
• Visits by local libraries
• Fishing rod casting, archery, and kayak demonstrations provided by a local pro shop
• Free fishing rods will be available

All activities are open to the public and free while supplies last. The event will be held rain or shine.

Boots or old shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing are recommended.

Kids Day is sponsored by the Friends of Peebles Island State Park.
