Lunchtime Hike

Summer is in full swing! Take a break from your day to join us for a short 0.6 mile hike through the Madison Avenue Pinelands. We will talk about the Albany Pine Bush and what makes this habitat unique. This program is suitable for ages 6+. We will meet at the Madison Avenue Pinelands Trailhead (#7).

Directions from the Discovery Center to Madison Ave. Ext. (Trailhead 7): At the traffic light in front of the Discovery Center building, turn left onto Route 155. Proceed 0.5 miles to the next traffic light. Turn right at the traffic light onto Madison Ave. Ext. Proceed 0.2 miles to a stop sign. Proceed straight for another 0.25 miles until the road dead ends at the trailhead.
