All Dates

Location

9 Ten Broeck Place · Albany, NY

About

Learn how families stayed healthy in the 1700s–1800s at the Ten Broeck Mansion. Join the "Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise" tour series to see spaces and practices that played a role in everyday health. Discover hidden drains and linen cupboards and other evidence about changing attitudes toward health and wellness in Albany.

We suggest an additional 20–30 minutes to explore the historic gardens on your own with self-guided tours and to browse the museum shop of local artisan goods and books.

Please join us for our upcoming online lecture series exploring women and health on November 13 and 20. Lecture registration coming August 2026.
