Plantella

An Empire State Expo by Plantella is a houseplant expo held at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center, Concourse Level, Albany, NY.

The event is open to all plant enthusiasts and families. Kids 12 and under are free. No pets allowed (wagons are permitted).

Admissions are from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There are two types of admission:
- VIP Admission ($35 +tax, presale only): 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (VIP tickets are out of stock)
- General Admission ($16 +tax): Entry windows are 1:00 - 2:30 PM, 2:30 - 4:00 PM, and 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Admissions close at 5:00 PM; the show closes at 5:30 PM. Garage parking is $5.

The expo features an extensive vendor list, including Annie's Jungle Shop, DJH Bonsai, Carnivorous Plants and Beyond, The Hoya Trove, and many others.

Special features include:
- Reptile Adventure: Educational talks at 12:00 (Terrarium Lighting), 2:00 (Beginner Reptiles), 3:00 (Reptile Safe Plants), and 4:30 (Chameleon Chat)
- DJH Bonsai: Presentations at 12:30 and 2:30 on bonsai history and horticulture
- Kid Zone Color Station
- Face Painting by A Touch of Colour
- Lefemine Photography: Green Carpet Ambassador Zone for event photography
