Are you the very best, like no one ever was? Have you caught them all? Put your knowledge to the test in this Pokémon trivia event, hosted by local Pokémanic Dave Cass. This family-friendly trivia covers video games, the trading card game, movies and television, evolution, advanced gameplay, Pokémon geography, and more. Each round has questions within one topic and across all generations. The winning team will receive a prize courtesy of Bard & Baker.
Space is limited to 10 teams, with a maximum of 4 players per team. Please keep this in mind when signing up.
Things to know:
- Who’s that Pokémon?: One of the six rounds is a photo round. Teams identify Pokémon from heavily zoomed-in images and receive a separate answer sheet.
- Bonus 1 — Kids Round: Restricted to children under 13, with one participant per team. Each child answers three questions on their own sheet. Spelling help will be provided, and each correct answer earns bonus points.
- Bonus 2 — Detective Pikachu: Teams receive four clues pointing to one Pokémon. All teams may earn a bonus for the correct answer, and the first team to answer correctly receives a super bonus.
- Bonus 3 — PokéDex Challenge: To end the game, Dave names one of the 1,025 known Pokémon. Teams guess its National Dex number and receive end-of-game bonuses based on how close they are. Price Is Right rules don’t apply.
