Walking Tour: The Gilded Age in Troy, NY

Follow in the footsteps of the popular HBO series as we explore buildings and streets in the historic district used in filming Seasons One, Two, and Three of The Gilded Age. Behind-the-scenes stories will be shared as we look at the grand buildings and streetscapes that became the backdrop for this series set in 1882.
Before registering, please note:
- This tour is free to the public as part of ARCHTOBER, a NYC-based platform that promotes the discovery of architecture and design through experiences and content, including a month-long festival every October.
- Tours take place rain or shine, last 60 to 90 minutes, and are limited to 30 people. The tour involves walking several blocks on city streets with uneven sidewalks. Walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire are advised.
- The Hart Cluett Museum provides headsets so each participant can listen to the tour guide at their preferred volume. You may bring or use your own earpieces or earbuds; single-use earpieces will also be provided.
Cancellation policy, as of April 28, 2024: Refunds or exchanges for ticketed tours and programs must be requested at least five days before the program date. A $2.30 processing fee per ticket will be charged for refunds. If HCM cancels a tour or program, a full refund will be issued. Walking tours will be cancelled in extreme weather.
