EMPAC Studio 1—Goodman
Experience the latest in previsualization and digital twin technology with a hands-on demo of the Previsualization to Render Pipeline.
Researchers at EMPAC have developed the patent-pending PreVis platform, capable of generating a mobile digital twin of any venue's audio, video, lighting, and staging systems. Artists, presenters, and production teams use this tool to test speaker arrays, sound movement, lighting states, and production cues inside a virtual model well before load-in, and without specialized training.
The idea behind PreVis is straightforward, even if its implications run deep: previsualization is typically treated as a back-of-house technical exercise, when in fact it shapes the artwork itself. This app moves it into artists' hands earlier.
Join us in Studio 1—Goodman and take control of the venue’s technical systems yourself—with PreVis.
If you are unable to attend during the open demo times, please contact Stephen McLaughlin ([email protected]) to schedule an evening slot.
