Of course you know that Tarot is full of magic — but that wasn’t always known. The card game, invented in fifteenth-century Italy, only developed an occult tradition in eighteenth-century France. Why then? Who started it? What kicked it off? How different was their use of the Tarot from our own? Come learn about the people who shaped Tarot traditions and how they continue to influence us today.
About the instructor: K. A. Laity is an award-winning author, scholar, filmmaker, critic, editor, and arcane artist. She has appeared on BBC Radio and NPR talking about magic, witchcraft, and surrealism. She has read tarot for decades. Her creative workshops are offered through Visionary Fuel.
