The concert
Russian romanticism meets Hindustani classical music in a program that pairs Rachmaninoff’s sweeping Symphony No. 1 with new works by Reena Esmail about sisterhood across cultures and a poet whose ideas were dangerously ahead of their time.

The Program
- REENA ESMAIL: VISHWAS
- REENA ESMAIL: My Sister’s Voice (Meri Sakhi Ki Avaaz)
- SERGEI RACHMANINOFF: Symphony No. 1

The Experience
Settle into the iconic Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, where every note shines. From the softest passage to the most dramatic crescendo, the hall amplifies emotion, enveloping the audience in a rich, immersive sound that transforms every moment into a vivid musical experience.

Enhance your concert experience! Arrive early to hear a pre-concert talk with Music Director David Alan Miller at 6:30pm.
