Cat Trials is a theatrical work-in-progress collaboration comedy in which suffering apprentice-workers stage and restage a revolt against the Parisian Master Printer Jacques Vincent (the Elite). The performance is inspired by Robert Darnton's The Great Cat Massacre, a cultural history of pre-revolutionary France.
