Drum in Joy!

Drum in Joy! is designed to build confidence, foster community, and promote well-being through the power of drumming. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to play djembes and dunduns in a group setting, this is your chance to dive in and learn about the important culture-bearers, history, and rhythms of these dynamic instruments while experiencing the wonderful energy of playing with a loving group of people.

• WHEN: Thursday, April 2 at 4:00-5:15 pm
• WHERE: Refuge, 1813 5th Avenue, Troy NY
• WHO: For all levels (beginner to experienced) | For ages 13+ | 20 students max
• INSTRUCTOR: Chelsie Henderson
• COST: $30 (A djembe can be rented for an additional $5)
