Arts for All: Decorative Rooster Crafting
Location
About
Put your painting and crafting skills to the test—and go home with a decorative rooster!
In this fun, daylong workshop, you’ll use acrylic paint techniques, stenciling and markers to bring your avian character to life.
You’ll also learn about the Zentangle method: an "easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns."
This Tangle was designed by Janice L. Miller and is presented by Dianne Cantoni. Dianne studied art at Mission Renaissance in Pasadena, CA; at Decorating Masters Institute in Ft. Myers, FL; and at Artful Endeavors in Raleigh, NC. She has taught beginning basics, faux finishing and other types of art-making.
Bring lunch for a break around 1 p.m. By day’s end, you’ll have an 11" x 14" stretched canvas, a set of instructions and a marking pen to continue your "Tangles"!
March 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
