Peter Einhorn and Joakim Lartey perform an eclectic mix of genres wound into a unique, unified statement.
Joakim Lartey is a percussionist born in Ghana. He has played with singer Natalie Merchant, John Hall, and renowned jazz drummer Jack DeJohnette. Joakim studied at Prempeh College in Kumasi, Ghana, Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and The Creative Music Studio in Woodstock, New York.
Peter Einhorn is a "Meet The Composer" grant recipient. He has performed and/or recorded with Joe Lovano, Jim Hall, Plácido Domingo, Jimmy Cobb, Steve Swallow, David Amram, John Abercrombie, Steve Kuhn, Eddie Daniels, Roland Hanna, and others, as well as performing on 7-stringed instruments with the Metropolitan Opera in NYC.
