"For North Americans, Stephane Wrembel represents the living face of gypsy jazz." - New York Observer

Stéphane Wrembel is quite simply one of the finest guitarists of his generation. Renowned for his unparalleled breadth and depth as a musician, composer, and educator, Wrembel has spent over two decades shaping a sound that transcends genre and borders. Since his debut in 2002, he has released a steady stream of acclaimed recordings, establishing himself as one of the most distinctive and original guitar voices in contemporary music. His live performances are celebrated worldwide for their virtuosity and emotional range. Wrembel has headlined stages at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Town Hall in New York City, and the Lyon Opera House in France. He has performed and collaborated with musical luminaries including Jean-Michel Pilc, Sam Bush, Stochelo Rosenberg, Esperanza Spalding, and Al Di Meola. His festival appearances span the globe, from the Montreal and Monterey Jazz Festivals to the Django Reinhardt Festival in France, the Ellnora Guitar Festival, and Caramoor Jazz Festival. Internationally, he has toured across Canada, France, Israel, the UK, India, and Nigeria.

Parisien-turned-Kingston resident Olivier Manchon met Stéphane when they were young students in Paris. They both attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, and went on to play every Sunday at Barbes in Brooklyn. Olivier started his own ensemble, Orchestre de Chambre Miniature, and toured around the world with groups from Sufjan Stevens and DeKotchka to Van Dyke Parks, Clare & the Reasons, and My Brightest Diamond.

About 12 years ago when family called, he started scoring a documentary about Ricky Jay and hasn't looked back since. He offers scores and songs to films and TV (with his wife Clare) such as Secret Mall Apartment, Turn Every Page about Rober Caro and Robert Gottlieb, ABC series Black Box starring Vanessa Redgrave, music in The Unbearable Weight of a Massive Talent (Nick Cage), Amazon's Modern Love, Oscar-shortlisted short films Bad Hostage, Deciding Vote and Hysterical Girl, and the Canal Plus French adventure En Attendant Bojangles, starring Romain Duris and Virginie Efira. Olivier has also had a vibrant theatre life, being in the original Broadway production of Spring Awakening, the music director for Peter Dinklage/The National's version of Cyrano in it's first iteration, Matilda and Groundhog Day on Broadway. Olivier also produces and arranges for many, including several songs on John Legend's album My Favorite Dream.
