Join us for a conversation with the multifaceted writer and organizer Kelly Hayes. Kelly hosts Truthout’s podcast Movement Memos and writes Organizing My Thoughts, a weekly newsletter about politics and justice work. She is also the author of Read This When Things Fall Apart, a collection of letters to activists and organizers who are struggling.
Kelly will lead a discussion on what she has learned over the years about organizing and movement tensions in moments of crisis. Having spoken with organizers from many different movements, she knows how hard it can be to take up the work of social justice and will offer thoughts on navigating the hard times.
